Going to the Mattresses

I think it was from The God Father, "Going to the Mattresses", and it means something like going to war.
So I'm Going to the Mattresses with all the things holding me back, tying me down, and nailing me to their proverbial crosses. This isn't some bullshit motivational piece about how to unfuck your life up. I'm not going to tell you, to tell the universe to suck your dick, and give you what you want. If you're one of those idiots who thinks that shit works, you should fellate yourself, as it will give you more benefit.
I'm just going to say, go to war.
I don't care why, and I don't what with. If you feel you have to, do it. But do it right.
I've built my defensive structures, positioning them where they'll be a hazard to the enemy. I've picked my own ground, terms and weapons. I've sent scouts and spies to acquire the appropriate targets, and gather intelligence. Forged alliances and manuvered my troops...
She will hit that Matress. I'm very good at War Games.

Is it just me, or does the posting date for this entry seem off? By, like, fifteen days?

I already spoke to you about this entry, but I decided to leave a comment, too. I must agree - going to war is all that's necessary. None of that "fuck you, I'll do what I want" shit. And perhaps it's time I went to war as well... after all, you and I are in similar positions when you think about it. Let's make them hit those mattresses, and then raise our beers to the decision when all has finally paid off!

And I just noticed your Blogger avatar again... heh, it's amazing to see how my art's progressed since Grade 10. You wouldn't have recognise the stuff that I draw now as my own back then, and it was only two years ago.
